Joe Biden’s campaign staff pushed back against accusations the politician’s schedule just weeks before the general election is too “low-key” for voters; blaming his infrequent appearances on the Coronavirus pandemic.
“Biden’s aides insist his approach is intentional, showcasing his respect for public health guidelines aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus and presenting a responsible contrast with Trump, who has resumed large-scale campaign rallies — sometimes over the objections of local officials. Still, some Democrats say it’s critical that Biden infuse his campaign with more energy,” reports Fox News.
“I thought he had his own plane,” Texas Democratic Party Chairman Gilberto Hinojosa said. “He doesn’t have to sit with one space between another person on a commercial airline like I would.”
“We are campaigning safely and effectively, and our message is reaching voters in battleground states and generating the enthusiasm and energy we need to beat Donald Trump,” said Biden spokesman TJ Ducklo.

BIDEN in NEW HAMPSHIRE: ‘What You Do Here in Iowa is Going to Set the Tone’
Former Vice President Joe Biden left audience members scratching their heads in New Hampshire over the weekend; confusing the northeast state for Iowa -approximately 1,000 miles away.
“The primary race for the United States presidency… You have an incredible obligation, not to me at all, but to yourselves. What you do here in Iowa […] is going to set the tone,” said Biden before correcting himself.
“New Hampshire, the primary in New Hampshire,” he added.

Biden made a similar mistake earlier this year; confusing New Hampshire for the neighboring state of Vermont.
“I’ve been here a number of times…I love this place. Look, what’s not to like about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it?” Biden told reporters.
