If you’re wondering why Kari Lake is trending on Twitter —here’s the reason.
CNN reporter Kyung Lah really wanted to grab an interview with Trump-backed Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake —unfortunately for Lah, Lake wasn’t having it.
“I’ll do an interview as long as it airs on CNN+ —does that still exist? I didn’t think so. Because the people don’t like what you are peddling —which is propaganda. Thank you.”
Lah is left speechless.

After the interaction, Lake started trending on Twitter and posted the following message.
“My staff tells me I’m “Trending.” I assume that’s a good thing!”

Lake is in a tight race in Arizona. Internal Republican polling shows a statistical tie between Lake and opponent Karrin Taylor Robson.
