Comedian Tim Allen is calling out what he sees as a glaring contradiction on Capitol Hill.
After King Charles III delivered a historic address to a joint session of Congress Tuesday, Allen took to X to highlight the irony playing out in real time.
“Would have been funny to see the facial reactions of an actual King with a no Kings parade yelling at him,” Allen wrote, alongside a photo from the speech.

The post quickly gained traction, racking up tens of thousands of views as users piled on with similar observations.
“The party chanting ‘no kings’ was clamoring to stand in ovation of a real King,” one user wrote.
Another added, “The democrats give an actual king a standing ovation. The irony.”
The moment came as “No Kings” protests — many aimed at Donald Trump — were unfolding across the country, creating a sharp contrast between the rhetoric on the streets and the reception inside the Capitol.
Republican lawmakers didn’t miss the opportunity to join the conversation.
“I was on my way to hear an actual King speak… Funny how the ‘No Kings’ crowd is nowhere to be found. Guess the outrage depends on who’s talking?” wrote Greg Steube on X.
The official White House account also leaned into the moment, posting a photo of Trump alongside King Charles with a pointed caption: “TWO KINGS.”
