Over the weekend, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) mocked Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s (D-TX) announcement that she would run for the U.S. Senate in Texas, claiming her views are out of touch with voters and dismissing the bid as misguided.
But he said it in a way only he could.
“They need that to tell her that the voices in her head are not real,” Kennedy said of Crockett’s team. “She is wrong on every single issue. The people of Texas will never embrace her message. I don’t know why she’s doing this, but you have the right in America to do dumb things if you want to. And she will be leaving Congress.”
