Louisiana Senator John Kennedy stopped by Fox News this week and was asked about the New York City criminal trial of former President Donald Trump; “It says more about our politics than about the alleged crime,” Kennedy said.

“Mr. Bragg, I don’t know him. My observation is that if you want to hide something from him, you put it in a law book. He is bringing a felony criminal trial but he hasn’t proved a felony. Here’s why: I think most fair-minded Americans look at President Biden and say he’s old, his Vice President is weak, his policies suck, and his family has corruption problems, and he’s losing the election,” Kenned said.

“So he has decided to throw deep … and prosecute his opponent.”
