“Frankly, it was a joke,” said Biden advisor Symone Sanders. “People in the room laughed. It’s a line he’s used frequently from a John Wayne movie.”
“The reality here is there’s not a better retail politician in America than Joe Biden,” she added.

Former Vice President Joe Biden continued his gaffe-filled campaign over the weekend; bizarrely accusing one supporter of being a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier” when asked about his disastrous performance in the Iowa Caucus.
“How do you explain the performance in Iowa and why should the voters believe that you can win a national election?” asked one attendee at an event in New Hampshire.
“You ever been to a caucus?” Biden replied.
The woman said she had taken part in one caucus, to which Biden replied, “No you haven’t. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier.”
