'JUST GETTING STARTED': Trump Celebrates DOGE Efforts, 'We're Ending Trillions of Dollars in Waste' [WATCH]

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump celebrated DOGE’s waste-cutting efforts, saying the efficiency department has already cut billions in bloat — “and we’re just getting started,” Trump said.

The POTUS made the comments while addressing the FII Priority Summit, a Saudi Arabia-backed event that draws a mix of global tech executives and financiers in Miami.

“In less than a single month, the Department of Government Efficiency has already saved over 55 — this is just a short period of time — $55 billion, and we’re just getting started,” Trump said.

“That’s nothing compared to the numbers that you’re talking about. We’re ending trillions of dollars in waste, and it will mean much lower inflation, lower interest rates, lower payments on mortgages, credit cards, car loans — and much higher stock markets … we will rapidly grow our economy by shrinking the federal government — and we have to do it,” Trump said.

Trump also teased the reported “DOGE Dividend.”

“There’s even under consideration a new concept where we give 20% of the DOGE savings to American citizens and 20% goes to paying debt because the numbers are incredible, Elon,” Trump added.

During the event, Trump also shared the “best advice” he ever received from his father.

“You have to love what you do — and if you love what you do, you’re going to have a happy life,” Trump said, adding that people who have admiration for whatever they undertake gives them a “good chance” of finding success in their career.
