President Biden responded to the SCOTUS opinion on Roe v. Wade, saying Roe should not have been overturned and called on Congress to codify it as “law of the land.” Biden also stressed that all protests must be peaceful.
“I call on everyone no matter how deeply they care about this decision to keep all protests peaceful, peaceful, peaceful, peaceful, no intimidation. Violence is never acceptable,” Biden said.
Biden promised information on his administration’s plans to push back on the SCOTUS decision in the weeks to come.
