President Joe Biden seemingly snapped at a class of Coast Guard Cadets in Connecticut Wednesday morning; telling the students they were “dull” for not applauding his comments about the Navy.
“You are a really dull class. Come on, man. Is the sun getting to you? I would think you’d have an opportunity when I say that about the Navy to clap — to be here together,” said Biden.
Biden’s comments come hours after he urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “de-escalate” his war with terrorists in the Gaza Strip.
“The President conveyed to the Prime Minister that he expected a significant de-escalation today on the path to a ceasefire,” the White House confirmed.
“Israel has been responding to rocket attacks from Hamas with measures of its own, including airstrikes of key Hamas targets. It has faced criticism for the reported 200+ Palestinians killed, as well as strikes such as that on an evacuated media building – although the Israel Defense Force said that it was being used by Hamas, with media outlets being used as cover,” reports Fox News.
