During Thursday’s White House press conference, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre fielded a number of questions about the toxic train disaster in East Palestine, Ohio —including whether or not the POTUS will be going any time soon.
She confirmed there are currently no plans for Joe to go.
“I don’t have anything to read out or announce on a travel to Ohio. We’ve had EPA on the ground…Secretary Buttigieg is there today. We’ve had FEMA…we’ve had a multi-agency approach to this —that’s how important it is to this President,” KJP answered.
Buttigieg took three weeks to go to East Palestine and Biden initially declined to send FEMA.

And that wasn’t the only question she got about the POTUS in East Palestine.
