Just weeks before Americans head to the polls to decide the direction of the country, all eyes turn to the political futures of senior DOJ officials Jeff Sessions and Rod Rosenstein; with many inside the GOP and the media calling for their resignations after the high-stakes midterm election.
Fox News’ Gregg Jarrett is leading the charge; publishing an opinion piece demanding the senior Trump aides “leave their top jobs” this fall.
“Fortunately for our country, Attorney General Jeff Sessions doesn’t have much more time left in his job. Once the Nov. 6 midterm elections are over, President Trump is widely expected to belatedly accept the letter of resignation tendered by Sessions in May 2017,” writes Jarrett.
“Hopefully, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will also leave the Justice Department when Sessions heads out the door,” he adds.
“Both Sessions and Rosenstein have done enormous damage to the Trump presidency, our nation and our system of justice. We will all be better off with them out of their jobs. As the old saying goes, ‘good riddance to bad rubbish!’” says the article.

JARRETT TO ROSENSTEIN: Follow the President's Orders on Classified Docs or LEAVE THE DOJ
President Trump ordered the release of controversial classified documents regarding widespread FISA abuse and political bias at the Department of Justice this week; setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown between the White House and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
Fox News’ Gregg Jarrett drew a line in the sand should Rosenstein defy the President’s demands Tuesday, saying the senior DOJ official should be immediately fired if he moves to block the release of the requested material.
“President Trump has ordered that numerous documents involving the Russia investigation be declassified. The records have long been sought by Congress under lawful subpoenas. Yet, the FBI and Department of Justice have consistently obstructed the release of these materials under the guise of ‘classified’ secrets. This is a convenient alibi all too frequently employed to cover-up wrongdoing and abuse of authority by those we entrust to uphold the law,” writes Jarrett.
“Rosenstein has every reason to suppress the records. They may incriminate him. He affixed his signature to the final renewal of the FISA warrant application to continue spying on Carter Page,” he adds.

GREGG JARRETT: Democrats' Outrageous Conduct Victimizes ALL Americans
Fox News’ Gregg Jarrett slammed Democratic lawmakers just hours after the Senate Judiciary Committee wrapped-up its high-stakes hearings to address allegations of sexual misconduct against Judge Brett Kavanaugh Thursday; saying their “outrageous” conduct should concern all Americans.
“If Judge Brett Kavanaugh was not telling the truth Thursday at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on his nomination to the Supreme Court, he is one of America’s greatest actors,” writes Jarrett.
“Fundamental fairness and due process demand every accused person receive a presumption of innocence. If it did not exist, America would be a police state, where the government could accuse any of us of any crime and convict us without evidence. The liberty and freedom of each and every one of us would be endangered,” he adds.
“Both Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford are the victims of the outrageous conduct by Senate Democrats. And so are the American people,” says Jarrett.
