Legal experts and Fox News contributors Gregg Jarrett and Alan Dershowitz joined host Sean Hannity Tuesday night to react to the latest developments coming out of Donald Trump’s criminal trial in NYC.
Hannity says the trial is “obviously political.”
“Alvin Bragg has taken a wrecking ball to justice,” Jarrett says. “The term ‘fair trial’ in New York — that’s an oxymoron. Threatening Trump with contempt, jail, oppressive gag order — it’s blatantly unconstitutional. It’s all evidence of a tyrannical judge and a dishonest DA.”
“Bragg and Judge Merchan are essentially colluding to keep off the campaign trail and tied up in court,” Jarrett continues, adding that it will be a “miracle” if Trump can get a fair trial.
“You have a poison justice system that harbors contempt for the accused and presumes guilt.”
