Israeli officials took their fight with Hezbollah and other terror networks to the next-level this week, with officials in Jerusalem confirming they were nearing completion of a massive wall along their northern border with Lebanon.
According to Fox News, “Israel is building a massive wall along its northern border, saying the barrier is needed to protect civilians from Hezbollah attacks, but the project has raised tensions with Lebanon, which fears the fence will encroach on its territory.”
“This wall, if it is built, will be considered an aggression against Lebanon,” said an official with the Lebanese government. “The Higher Defense Council has given instructions to confront this aggression to prevent Israel from building this so-called wall barrier on Lebanese territory.”
“Even for the past year before we started this construction, we’ve coordinated this activity with UNIFIL, and through UNIFIL with the Lebanese Armed Forces. We’ve alerted them of our intention to do so, to construct this defensive mechanism,” said a Major from the IDF.

GAZA CHAOS: Dozens Killed, Terror Attack FOILED as US Embassy Opens
A least 37 Palestinian protesters were killed and hundreds more injured Monday as thousands of demonstrators descended on the Gaza-Israeli border, including three “armed terrorists” who attempted to “plant a bomb” near the heavily fortified fence.
According to Fox News, more than 35,000 protesters assembled near the border as US and Israeli officials officially opened the American embassy in the heart of Jerusalem; fulfilling years of US promises by recognizing the holy city as the capital of the Jewish state.
“Moments ago, an IDF patrol foiled a bomb-laying attack by a cell of three armed terrorists near Rafah, close to the border,” the Israeli military said Monday. “This is a particularly violent protest point. The troops responded with fire at the terrorists. The terrorists were killed.”
“Rioters are hurling pipe bombs and firebombs at IDF troops, burning tires, throwing stones and burning objects, with the intention of setting fires in Israel and hurting IDF troops,” said an Israeli official.
The violence comes just hours before Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and other dignitaries open the embassy, featuring a pre-recorded speech by President Trump.

ISRAEL ON EDGE: Jerusalem Braces for VIOLENCE as US Opens Embassy
Israeli security forces are on high-alert in the coming days as the United States prepares to open its embassy in Jerusalem; fulfilling years of American promises to relocate their diplomatic headquarters to the capital.
According to the Guardian, police and Israeli Defense Forces have increased security sweeps and patrols in the southern Jerusalem neighborhood expected to house the temporary American embassy while construction is in progress.
American officials plan to open the embassy on May 14, the 70th anniversary of the creation of the Jewish State in the immediate aftermath of World War II.
It remains unclear if President Trump will be on hand to officially open the diplomatic headquarters.
“We’re still waiting to see if the US president will come here for the opening move. The level of security will be raised accordingly,” said a spokesperson for Israeli police.
“When you have tens of thousands of people around the border there is no control over them,” said a security analyst in Gaza. “It would be my assumption that some protesters will try to breach the fence, will try to infiltrate into Israel.”
