Hip-hop superstar Kanye West isn’t the only celebrity calling out Black Lives Matter —Sharon Osbourne says she agrees with Ye, and she’d like her $900,000 donation back, thank you very much.
“The British TV personality made the comments when asked by a TMZ reporter how she felt about the recent controversy with Ye debuting White Lives Matter shirts at his Paris fashion show. The reporter repeatedly asked Osbourne’s opinion on the matter, and she maintained her confusion over the whole controversy,” The Daily Wire reports.
“I don’t understand why white lives don’t matter,” she said. “I don’t understand it. Listen, it’s not my thing, it’s not my culture. I don’t understand any of it. Everybody matters, don’t they?”
“Do you agree with Kanye’s point?” the reporter pressed, reiterating Kanye’s claim that BLM is a scam.
“Oh, well, yeah,” Osbourne replied. “We gave $900,000 to that, and I’d like my money back,” she said with a laugh. “Wish he could have said that before!” she quipped.
Next, the reporter asked if it was “appropriate” to cancel West for what he was doing.
“Nope!”
