The anti-Trump hysteria at CNN reached a fever pitch Thursday morning, with the cable news network bizarrely suggesting Russian agents had infiltrated the National Prayer Breakfast; an annual event in the nation’s capital traditionally featuring a speech by the sitting President.
During its coverage of the low-key event, the media outlet quickly claimed that this year’s breakfast included a significantly larger delegation of Russian businessmen, religious authorities, and officials than in previous events.
“As many as 60 Russians are expected to attend the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, more than three times last year’s number, per Russian officials,” tweeted CNN.

“The spike in the number of Russians attending the event compared to last year comes amid multiple ongoing investigations into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia as well as continued fallout from Russian interference in the 2016 election,” adds the Cable News Network.
