Hollywood actor Peter Fonda issued a public apology Wednesday night after viciously threatening Barron Trump on social media, saying he “went way too far” and “sincerely apologizes” for the outrageous remarks.
According to the Daily Caller, Fonda’s manager issued the actor’s statement hours after calling for the President’s youngest son to be “held in a cage with pedophiles” due to his father’s immigration policy.
“I tweeted something highly inappropriate and vulgar about the president and his family in response to the devastating images I was seeing on television. Like many Americans, I am very impassioned and distraught over the situation with children separated from their families at the border, but I went way too far. It was wrong and I should not have done it. I immediately regretted it and sincerely apologize to the family for what I said and any hurt my words have caused.”
Fonda found himself in hot water Wednesday after the vicious tweet, where he urged the President’s critics to “rip Barron Trump from his mother’s arms.”

Donald Trump Jr. exploded on Hollywood actor James Fonda Wednesday, blasting the “sick individual” after he viciously suggested Barron Trump should be kidnapped and held in a “cage” over his father’s immigration policies.
The President’s oldest son slammed Fonda on social media just hours after he posted his outrageous threat, saying “rather than attack an 11 year old like a bully and a coward why don’t you pick on someone a bit bigger.”
