In the wake of the left’s violent attacks on DOGE head Elon Musk and his companies, President Donald Trump is stepping up to stand by his guy.
Trump and Musk spoke with reporters outside the White House on Tuesday.
“I love Tesla. The one I like is that one (Model S). And I want that same color. I’m going to give him (Tesla) a check. I don’t want a discount,” Trump said
“Number one, it’s a great product — as good as it gets — and number two, because he has devoted his energy and his life to doing this and I think he has been treated very unfairly,” Trump added.
“I know people that have these cars; It blows them away. They love them,” Trump said.
Trump added that America should “cherish” Elon Musk because he’s a high-IQ person — and those are in short supply these days.
Trump shared a similar pro-Musk message on TRUTH Social:
To Republicans, Conservatives, and all great Americans, Elon Musk is “putting it on the line” in order to help our Nation, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the World’s great automakers, and Elon’s “baby,” in order to attack and do harm to Elon, and everything he stands for. They tried to do it to me at the 2024 Presidential Ballot Box, but how did that work out? In any event, I’m going to buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American. Why should he be punished for putting his tremendous skills to work in order to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN???
During a recent interview with Fox Business’ Larry Kudlow, Elon Musk admitted that his work with DOGE has dramatically impacted his bottom line due to leftist boycotts and fearmongering.
“How are you running your other businesses?” Kudlow asked.
“With great difficulty,” Musk replied.
“But there’s no turning back, you’re saying?” Kudlow questioned.
After a pause, Musk said he is in the administration “trying to make government more efficient” to eliminate waste and fraud.
“And so far, we’re making good progress, actually,” he said.
