White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders unloaded on CNN’s Jim Acosta during her briefing this week, saying the correspondent “has a hard time understanding even short sentences.”
Sanders was taking questions from reporters Thursday when she was asked to comment on the Trump administration’s tough approach to immigration, with Acosta pressing her on reports of “children being separated from their parents.”

ACOSTA ABROAD: Trump Warns Jim Acosta to ‘Be Respectful’ During Kim Summit
President Trump told CNN’s White House correspondent Jim Acosta to “be nice” and “be respectful” during Tuesday’s press conference in Singapore; warning the journalist after he yelled questions at Trump and Kim Jong Un earlier in the day.
The President was taking questions from reporters after his high-stakes meetings with the North Korean leader when he called-on Acosta, who promised to be “respectful” before asking the Commander-in-Chief the status of the negotiations.

ACOSTA DENIED: Jim Acosta BOOTED from White House by Secret Service
CNN’s senior correspondent Jim Acosta was barred entry to the White House this week after a new secret service agent reportedly failed to recognize the reporter; telling him to retrieve his press pass before entering the premises.
The altercation was captured on video Wednesday, showing Acosta asking to be allowed entry to the White House as the Secret Service agent refused; eventually forcing the journalist to leave the area.
Acosta is no stranger when it comes to controversy regarding the President.
The CNN correspondent came under fire earlier this year after he publicly harassed the First Family during the annual White House Easter festivities.
