Democrats have “fallen off the pace.”
CNN data guru Harry Enten has bad news for Democrats hoping to retake the House in the 2026 midterm elections. While reviewing recent polling data, Enten stressed that Dems’ chances have plummeted for two reasons:
– Dems aren’t keeping up with the pace they set in 2017 on the generic ballot.
– GOP may be looking at big gains from mid-decade redistricting.
