Former Acting ICE Director Tom Homan ripped the “street thugs” that attacked the United States Capitol Wednesday afternoon in an op-ed published by Fox News; saying the “true patriots” are members of the Capitol Hill Police Department.
“Five people — including a heroic Capitol Police officer — are dead as the result of the attack by rioters on a woefully unprepared U.S. Capitol Wednesday. Congress needs to review the circumstances of this attack, and the lawbreakers who invaded must be prosecuted and punished to the full extent of the law,” writes Homan.
“The rioters — who absurdly claim to be patriots but acted and performed like street thugs attacked the people’s house and assaulted the true patriots of the Capitol Police, and they bear full responsibilities for their barbaric actions. But the leadership of law enforcement agencies tasked with protecting the Capitol must be held accountable as well,” he added.
“Responding to justified outrage by members of Congress demanding their resignations, Capitol Police Chief Steven A. Sund, House Sergeant at Arms Paul D. Irving and Senate Sergeant at Arms Michael C. Stenger are all resigning in the wake of their failure to prepare for the attack. This should impress on whoever succeeds them that a failure of leadership like this is intolerable,” he concluded.

Former ICE chief Thomas Homan was officially named President Trump’s ‘Border Czar’ Friday morning as part of the administration’s renewed efforts to crackdown on illegal immigration pouring into the United States.
“Tom Homan’s coming back, I would say that would be announced next week except I’d rather announce it now,” Trump said in an interview with “Fox and Friends.” “He’s going to be very much involved with the border, that’s what he really wants to be involved with.”
“He’ll be a border czar, he’ll be very much involved in the border, he’ll be directly reporting to me, working out of the White House but spending a lot of time at the border,” Trump said. “He’s a good man, he’s a good man.”
“God help us if another tragedy falls upon us because Democratic leaders in Congress want to play politics with our safety and are blinded by their drive to see our president fail,” Homan said during a recent interview. “No one should want our president to fail. His success is America’s success.”
Homan slammed Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez last January; saying “every time she opens her mouth she’s wrong” after the Democratic-Socialist viciously attacked federal immigration agents.
“The President should be defending why we are funding such an agency at all, because right now what we’re seeing is death,” claimed Cortez Tuesday evening.
“It’s incredible,” said Homan. “Every time she opens her mouth she’s wrong. She needs to do her homework. First of all, no child died in ICE agency… If you want to blame somebody for deaths in custody, blame Democrats who refuse to close these loopholes.”
“She ought to be saying thank you. She’s from New York. ICE agents have arrested and removed thousands of criminals from the state of New York,” he added.

Former ICE Chief Tom Homan ripped New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s recent criticism of local law enforcement who refuse to comply with his CoVID edicts; saying if “anyone’s a dictator, it’s him!”
“Let us be clear. Governor Cuomo is stating incorrect facts here. He’s lying to the American people. There is no law. If anyone’s a dictator, it’s him!” said Homan. “I pay a lot of taxes in New York. He works for me. He works for us, not the other way around.”
“For him to vilify law enforcement for protecting the First Amendment rights of residents is insulting. It’s shocking a Governor would say that,” he added.
