House Oversight Chairman James Comer spoke with Sean Hannity Thursday night about ex-Biden aide Ian Sams’ testimony on the Biden decline cover-up.
Sams testified that he spoke directly with former President Biden only twice during his more than two years in the administration.
“One of the most shocking things to me,” Comer told reporters on Thursday, is that Sams “communicated with Joe Biden two times, he saw Joe Biden, talked to Joe Biden — two times.”
Comer added that even former special counsel Robert Hur “spent more time with Joe Biden than Ian Sams,” citing Sams’ transcribed interview with committee staff.
Comer told Hannity Sams’ testimony was “the most revealing to date.”
“This is the guy, Ian Sams, who repeatedly came out behind the White House podium and would say that Joe Biden was at the top of his game. He criticized Robert Hur for writing that Biden had a forgetful mind … he criticized me on a daily basis when we were uncovering evidence of the Biden family influence peddling schemes– and he always said and implied that he was in constant communication with Joe Biden.”
“But when we got him under oath today … he said he only interacted with Joe Biden two times, face to face, over the entire two-year period he served in the White House,” Comer added.
“This is evidence that Biden was shielded from even his innermost staff.”
