posted by Hannity Staff - 11.25.19

The hero military K9 that ultimately took-down ISIS mastermind Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi arrived at the White House Monday morning; receiving a warm welcome from the President of the United States.

‘Conan the K9’ was received on the White House lawn by President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

The Commander-in-Chief hinted at the invitation after news broke of Conan’s involvement in cornering al-Baghdadi before the terror leader detonated a suicide vest; killing himself and several children.

President Trump officially unveiled the name of the hero K9 that helped take-out ISIS mastermind Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi; inviting ‘Conan’ to the White House as early as next week.

“Thank you Daily Wire. Very cute recreation, but the ‘live’ version of Conan will be leaving the Middle East for the White House sometime next week!” posted Trump on Twitter.

“Conan was hurt during the mission after being exposed to live electrical wires while pursing Baghdadi through a tunnel underneath a compound in northwestern Syria, Gen. Frank McKenzie, who leads U.S. Central Command, said Wednesday. The dog, who has worked with special operations forces for four years and taken part in about 50 missions, has since returned to active duty,” reports Fox News.

President Trump defended his decision to keep members of Congress in the dark on the successful raid that ultimately killed ISIS mastermind Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi Monday; calling Rep. Adam Schiff a “known leaker.”

“The only thing is they were talking about why didn’t I give the information to Adam Schiff and his committee, and the answer is because I think Adam Schiff is the biggest leaker in Washington,” Trump said. “You know that, I know that, we all know that. I’ve watched Adam Schiff leak. He’s a corrupt politician. He’s a leaker like nobody has ever seen before.”

“I wanted to make sure this kept secret,” Trump said. “I don’t want to have people lost.”

“We’re thinking about it. … We may take certain parts of it and release it, yes,” said the President when asked if the public will be able to view footage of the raid.
