During a Senate Help Committee hearing on Tuesday, Sen. Markwayne Mullin got into a heated exchange with Teamster boss Sean O’Brien over a recent X post where O’Brien called out Mullin for a fight.
“‘Quit the tough guy act in these Senate hearings. You know where to find me? Any place, anytime, cowboy,’” Mullin said, reading the tweet directed at him.
“Sir, this is a time. This is a place. You want to run your mouth? We can be two consenting adults. We can finish it here, Mullin said.
“Okay, that’s fine. Perfect,” O’Brien said in response.
“You want to do it right now?” Mullin asked.
“I’d love to do it right now,” O’Brien responded.
“Well stand your butt up then,” Mullin said.
The fight was squashed by Senator and committee head Bernie Sanders before any blows were thrown.
