Advice on how to fix immigration from a former Biden official? Please.
Border Czar Tom Homan unloaded on former Biden border advisor Blas Nuñez-Neto during Wednesday night’s Hannity for an op-ed on how to fix the immigration system.
Homan isn’t taking any advice from Nuñez-Neto.
“I’m shocked this guy didn’t change his name and go into hiding,” Homan said. “He has blood on his hands … they took the most secure border we ever had in Trump 45 and unsecured it on purpose, which caused a historic increase in sex trafficking of young women and children. It caused 400 national security threats to be arrested at the border. It caused a quarter million Americans dead from fentanyl — a historic record. Over 400 migrants died crossing the border — a historic record.”
Homan added: “They broke a lot of records — and they’re all bad!”
Homan praised President Trump’s historic crackdown at the southern border.
“President Trump secured this border to the highest level ever in seven weeks,” Homan said.
There were 25,228 total migrant encounters nationwide in June, which is the lowest monthly total in CBP history, according to the agency.
U.S. Border Patrol apprehensions nationwide also hit a new historic low with 8,024.
The Southwest border saw 6,072 apprehensions, a 15% drop from the previous record in March.
