'HAPPY, SAFE, AND FREE': Trump Talks Rebuilding Gaza as 'One of the Most Spectacular Developments on Earth'

During an early-morning TRUTH Social post on Thursday, President Trump went into more detail on his plan for the Gaza Strip and his vision to rebuild the region for the Palestinian people.

Trump also stressed no American troops would be needed to carry out his vision.

Trump posted the following on TRUTH Social Thursday morning:

The Gaza Strip would be turned over to the United States by Israel at the conclusion of fighting. The Palestinians, people like Chuck Schumer, would have already been resettled in far safer and more beautiful communities, with new and modern homes, in the region. They would actually have a chance to be happy, safe, and free. The U.S., working with great development teams from all over the World, would slowly and carefully begin the construction of what would become one of the greatest and most spectacular developments of its kind on Earth. No soldiers by the U.S. would be needed! Stability for the region would reign!!!

Israel announced Thursday that it has begun preparing for the mass departure of Palestinians from Gaza under President Donald Trump’s plan for the territory. Meanwhile, officials said Egypt is quietly leading a diplomatic push to block the plan, AP News reports.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Sean Hannity Wednesday night about the Trump plan.

“The actual idea of allowing first Gazans who want to leave to leave. I mean, what’s wrong with that?” Netanyahu, told Hannity. “They can leave, and they can then come back, they can relocate and come back. But you have to rebuild Gaza. If you want to rebuild Gaza you can’t have … this is the first good idea that I’ve heard. It’s a remarkable idea.

“And I think it should be really pursued and examined, pursued and done. I think it will create a different future for everyone,” Netanyahu added.
