HAPPENING NOW: Bernie Cancels Rally in Mississippi to Campaign in Michigan Ahead of Primary

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.05.20

Far-left Senator Bernie Sanders is canceling one of his signature rally’s in Mississippi this week to spend more time in Michigan; a state he desperately needs to win to derail Joe Biden’s growing momentum.

“Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is canceling an appearance in Mississippi on Friday and will instead travel to Michigan, a sign that his campaign is pivoting its focus to the Midwest after taking a handful of losses in Southern states on Super Tuesday,” reports The Hill.

“The Vermont senator was originally expected to appear at a rally in Jackson, Miss., on Friday afternoon alongside the city’s mayor, Chokwe Lumumba, who has endorsed Sanders’s presidential bid,” adds the website.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer officially endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden Thursday; a serious blow to Sen. Bernie Sanders just days before voters in that state head to the polls.

“Working families in Michigan need a president who will show up and fight for them, and Joe Biden has proven time and again that he has our backs,” she said in a statement. “Michiganders have grit. We’re tough. We know what it’s like to be overlooked and counted out. And we know that when you get knocked down, you pick yourself up and get back to work. Joe Biden has been right there with us in the tough fights.”

“Joe Biden is the candidate we need to defeat Donald Trump in November. He’s always had our backs. Now, I’m proud to have his,” she added.

Sanders narrowly defeated Hillary Clinton during the state’s 2016 primary; beating the former Secretary of State 49% to 48%.

BERNIE BLINDSIDED! Hillary Clinton Calls Sanders’ Entire Campaign ‘Baloney,’ Says Just a ‘Career Politician’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.03.20

Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton ripped Bernie Sanders hours before the polls closed on Super Tuesday; calling his entire campaign “baloney” and labeling the far-left lawmaker a “career politician.”

“That was my authentic opinion then; it’s my authentic opinion now,” Clinton told Good Morning America, referring to her previous comments, “He was a career politician. It’s all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it.”

“My reaction is, let’s follow the rules,” Clinton said when asked to comment on a potential brokered convention. “We’ve got rules. We had rules last time and we have rules this time. I think it’s always a good idea to follow the rules. Everybody knew what they were when you got into it.”

BREAKING NOW: Joe Biden Wins the Alabama Democratic Primary

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.03.20

From the Fox News Desk:

“BREAKING: It’s 8 p.m. and polls have now closed in four more Super Tuesday States – Alabama, Maine, Massachusetts and Oklahoma.

The Fox News Decision Desk can now project that former Vice President Joe Biden will win the state of Alabama, racking up his third victory of the night – the other two being Virginia and North Carolina. But it is too early to call the other states, including Massachusetts, where home state Senator Elizabeth Warren is surprisingly locked in a three-way race with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and former Vice President Joe Biden.

Voting was supposed to have ended in Tennessee at 8, but deadly tornadoes prompted state officials to keep some polls open later. So Fox News will refrain from making a projection for now.”

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
