Legendary Democratic strategist — the Ragin’ Cajun himself — James Carville stopped by Hannity Thursday night for some friendly Right vs. Left banter with Fox News’ own Sean Hannity.
Not surprisingly, Hannity and Carville saw eye-to-eye on very few points.
“Trump is the lowest-rated president at this point of any president in American history,” Carville said, citing poll averages from RealClearPolitics.
Hannity countered with a number of polls, including a poll from CBS News/YouGuv, suggesting the president’s numbers are much stronger than Carville suggested.
Hannity also went after Carville for predicting Kamala Harris would win the White House.
“We went with our seventh-string quarterback, and we lost by a point and a half. And we actually picked up a congressional seat. So if you’re asking me, did I think that she was going to win, and she didn’t win? Yes. All the polling showed it even. It turned out to be a point and a half race,” Carville said.
Carville and Hannity also mixed it up on immigration, healthcare, DOGE, and the USAID.
