HANNITY: The Mainstream Media’s ‘SMEAR MACHINE’ in FULL GEAR During Trump’s European Trip

Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Wednesday night, Sean slammed the mainstream media for their non-stop negative coverage of the President during his trip to Europe; saying their “smear machine was in full gear.”

“As President Trump continues his international trip abroad, look at what’s happening back at home. The economy is firing on all cylinders, our unemployment rate is at its lowest rate since 1969… The people that unfairly suffered the most under the Obama economy, they are the single biggest beneficiary of President Trump’s America first agenda,” said Hannity.

“That’s not what you’ll ever hear from the mainstream media mob. Instead, we get negative coverage of the President every hour of every day… During the President’s trip to Europe the media smear machine was in full gear,” he added.

President Trump arrived in London Monday morning as part of his European trip culminating in D-Day commemoration ceremonies in France; meeting Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.

“Trump could be seen chatting with members of the Guard of Honor as the rest of the American delegation, from a terrace, observed the elaborate arrival ceremony, complete with the playing of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner.’ Royal gun salutes were fired from nearby Green Park and from the Tower of London as part of the pageantry accompanying an official state visit,” reports Fox News.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan labeled Trump a “fascist” and “global threat” hours before his arrival; escalating a feud between the two leaders that stretches back years.

@SadiqKhan, who by all accounts has done a terrible job as Mayor of London, has been foolishly ‘nasty’ to the visiting President of the United States, by far the most important ally of the United Kingdom. He is a stone cold loser who should focus on crime in London, not me,” tweeted the President.

“Kahn reminds me very much of our very dumb and incompetent Mayor of NYC, de Blasio, who has also done a terrible job – only half his height. In any event, I look forward to being a great friend to the United Kingdom, and am looking very much forward to my visit. Landing now!” he added.

British Prime Minister Theresa May will host the visit, but will resign her position within days following her failure to deliver Brexit years after the UK’s referendum.

The Prime Minister’s political future has been in jeopardy for months after several high-ranking members of her cabinet quit following her ‘Soft’ Brexit proposal.

“Whatever our background, the colour of our skin, or who we love. We stand together. And together we have a great future. Our politics may be under strain, but there is so much that is good about this country. So much to be proud of. So much to be optimistic about. I will shortly leave the job that it has been the honour of my life to hold — the second female prime minister but certainly not the last. I do so with no ill-will, but with enormous and enduring gratitude to have had the opportunity to serve the country I love,” said May.

D-DAY 75: CNN’S Acosta, ‘Morning Joe’ Scarborough Praise Trump’s Historic D-Day Address

President Trump gathered with world leaders Thursday in Normandy, France to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Allied invasion of Europe during World War 2; drawing rare praise from left-wing critics across the United States.

“This is perhaps the most on-message moment of Donald Trump’s presidency today. We were all wondering if he would veer from his remarks, go off of his script but he stayed on script, stayed on message and, I think, rose to the moment,” said CNN’s Acosta following the speech.

“That could not be more of a fact check true,” he added. “It was really one of those moments that Donald Trump needed to rise to in order to, I think, walk away from the cemetery, walk away from this hallowed ground and have people back at home saying, ‘You know what, no matter what I think about the current president of the United States, he said the right thing at Normandy. He did the right thing at Normandy.’”

“[Trump] delivered what, again, I believe is the strongest speech of his presidency,” said MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough.

President Trump recited Franklin D. Roosevelt’s prayer delivered moments before the Allied invasion of France on the 75th anniversary of the historic battle Wednesday; saying the enemy may “hurl back our forces, but we shall return again and again.”

The President was flanked by world leaders in Portsmouth, England just one day before he travels to Normandy to mark the turning point of World War II.

“Almighty God, our sons, the pride of our nation, this day have set upon a mighty endeavor. A struggle to preserve our Republic, our religion, and our civilization and to set free a suffering humanity. They will need thy blessings, for the enemy is strong,” said Trump.

“He may hurl back our forces, but we shall return again and again. We know that by thy grace and by the righteousness of our cause, our sons will triumph. Some will never return, embrace these Father, and receive them, these heroic servants into thy kingdom,” he added.

“Oh Lord, give us faith in thee, faith in our sons, faith in each other, and faith in our united crusade. Thy will be done, Almighty God, amen,” Trump concluded.
