Damning new documents show former Vice President Joe Biden’s son -Hunter Biden- peddled his influence during his father’s time in the White House, according to new material obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.
Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Monday, Sean ripped Biden’s blatant influence-peddling; saying his company used his position to leverage favors from the Obama administration.
“Hunter Biden was in fact peddling his influence, we have access to damning new documents. Hunter’s company used Hunter Biden -the Vice President’s son at the time- to try and win special favors from the Obama administration,” said Hannity.
“Representatives from the company were communicating with the Obama State Department; lobbying the Obama administration to end corruption allegations against their company,” he added.

REPORT: Hunter Biden’s Work in Romania ‘Raises New Questions’ Over Foreign Payments
A new report from NBC News claims the former Vice President’s son Hunter Biden was paid for legal work by a Romanian national charged with real estate fraud; all while his father was promoting “corruption reforms” in Romania.
“In the final year of the Obama administration, an American lawyer traveled to Romania to meet with a businessman accused of orchestrating a corrupt land deal,” reports NBC News.

“The businessman was Gabriel ‘Puiu’ Popoviciu, a wealthy Romanian real estate tycoon. The lawyer brought in to advise him was Hunter Biden, the son of then-Vice President Joe Biden, according to two people familiar with the matter,” adds the website.
“We don’t know what [Hunter Biden] was paid or what he was paid for but it does raise questions of whether this Romanian individual facing criminal charges was actually paying for a connection to the American vice president,” said Kathleen Clark, a law professor at Washington University.

BIDEN: I Left the White House as ‘One of the Poorest Men in Government’
Former Vice President Joe Biden defended his families close ties with the Ukraine on the campaign trail this week; claiming he left office as “one of the poorest men in government.”
“I’ve released 21 years of tax returns. I entered as one of the poorest men in Congress and left one of the poorest men in government, in Congress and as Vice President. I made no money other than my salary,” Biden told Reporters in Ohio.

Biden’s comments come as a former State Department official told lawmakers he raised red flags over the former Vice President’s connection to Ukraine energy companies.
“Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent, who testified behind closed doors before committees spearheading the formal House impeachment inquiry, told congressional investigators that he had qualms about Hunter Biden’s role on the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings,” reports Fox News.

“The Washington Post first reported details of Kent’s testimony on Friday, which included his concerns that the younger Biden’s role in the company could complicate U.S. diplomatic efforts with Ukrainian officials, and raised the issue of a possible conflict of interest. Kent also testified that he was worried that Hunter Biden’s position would make Ukrainian officials think he was a channel of influence to his father, who was vice president at the time,” adds Fox.
