Comey is indicted. Hannity reacts.
During Thursday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity said that the recent indictment of former FBI Director James Comey is just the “tip of the iceberg.”
Comey was charged with two federal counts: making a false statement to Congress and obstruction of a congressional proceeding. (Prosecutors had sought a third false statement count, but a grand jury rejected that additional charge.)
If Comey is found guilty, he could face up to 5 years in prison for each count.
“Tonight is only the tip of the iceberg,” Hannity said. “This is going to have a cascading effect.”

Hannity continued: “As alleged in this indictment, Count 1, on September 30th, 2020, during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, former FBI Director Comey denied when he was asked if he authorized the release of classified information to the news media by allowing a friend and colleague of his to be cited as an anonymous source.”
“Onto Count 2. The numerous other false, misleading statements Comey’s accused of having made in that exact same hearing, Comey was asked by Senator Lindsey Graham about a memo he received from the Director of National Intelligence, effectively making the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s emails disappear, replacing it with the Russian hoax. Comey said he never remembered — had no clue what happened.”
“And ‘Mr. Higher Honor’ didn’t just lie in that hearing — he also lied in a FISA court several times, saying that he had enough verified information to warrant the surveillance of American citizens, starting with Carter Page, backdooring into all things Trump world.”
