During Wednesday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity blasted Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for “selling his soul” in a desperate attempt to keep his career alive by bowing before the far-leftists in his party.
But it’s too late — the Schumer Shutdown likely won’t keep the aging statesman in the good graces of the radical wing of his party.
“What you’re really seeing here is a career politician selling his soul in a desperate attempt to cling to power,” Hannity said. “There’s no way Schumer can recover with the new radical wing of his party — he’s hated by them. He will forever remain hated. And he has been exposed to the rest of the country, which in a poll this year gave him a 17% approval rating.”
Hannity continued: “Here’s our message to Chuckie tonight. Chuck — it’s over. You will never, ever, ever be an elected leader of your party again. Your party doesn’t like you. The country doesn’t like you. Schumer, like Hakeem Jeffries, is leader in name only, completely beholden to the newly radicalized wing of their party.”
Schumer and the Democrats may have walked right into President Trump’s trap as the POTUS is set to make massive cuts to federal agencies.
