Trump to Iranians: We have your back.
During Monday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity reacted to new footage of massive anti-regime crowds in Tehran and reports of over 2,000 civilian deaths in recent crackdowns amid internet blackouts.
The Trump Administration is strongly voicing support for Iranians, including a 25% tariff on nations trading with Iran.
“Incredible new footage from the streets of Tehran and nearly every other city in Iran, where massive crowds of regular people are taking a stand against their Islamofascist government,” Hannity said. “I’m getting reports tonight that around 2,000 innocent civilians have already been murdered in this government crackdown. Multiple reports. Now that morgues and hospitals are overflowing, but protests continue. President Trump is backing their fight for freedom.”
Trump shared the following on TRUTH Social Monday night: “Any country doing business with the Islamic Republic of Iran will pay a tariff 25% on any and all business being done with the USA. This order is final and conclusive.”
Hannity added: “Now, if you are a protester in Iran and if you have a satellite dish — if you have Starlink, thanks to Elon Musk — many are staying in touch with the free world, and, if you’re somehow watching tonight, just know that this administration clearly is stating unequivocally they have your back.”
