HANNITY MONOLOGUE: Jimmy Kimmel's On-Air Removal Long Overdue [WATCH]

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.18.25

Kimmel is off the air — and it’s long overdue.

During Wednesday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity reacted to news that late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has been taken off air due to comments made in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

“I’ve been calling out Jimmy Kimmel’s reprehensible comments and dialogue for years now,” Hannity said. “Kimmel’s recent vile remarks about Charlie Kirk’s assassination should come as no surprise, given his lengthy history of mocking conservatives, republicans, and never-ending Trump bashing.”

“That’s why his ratings suck.”

Hannity also shared Trump’s reaction to Kimmel’s firing.

Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED. Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!! President DJT

“Truth be told, Jimmy Kimmel’s show was failing spectacularly. I’ve seen the ratings — they’re awful!” Hannity said. “His ratings are far below even Stephen Colbert, who was canceled. This was supposed to be a late-night comedy show. It has become nothing more than non-stop, never-ending ‘hate Donald Trump.’ The ratings are in the sewer and have been spiraling downward for years … Jimmy Kimmel failed at his job. He lost viewers then he lost revenue … the network said ‘enough is enough.'”
