Iran makes a strategic blunder.
During Monday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity described an Iran that is still refusing to agree to very simple fundamental terms in its ceasefire talks with the U.S.
The first term: Iran can’t have a nuclear weapon — “It’s not complicated,” Hannity said.
The second: The Strait of Hormuz must remain open.
“Iran’s threats, extortion, and partial blockade of the Strait have turned out to be a massive strategic blunder,” Hannity said. “President Trump has now flipped the script and is enforcing a total blockade of Iranian ports inside the Strait. As a result, the Iranian regime has no access to outside markets — that means no ability to bring in any money at all into their country. They have no ability to sell their oil and, according to analysts, Iran’s already-fragile economy will be brought to its knees.”
“And still, Iran’s fourth-tier leadership will not agree to fundamental terms.”
Trump put it plainly: “We can’t let a country blackmail the world.”
