HANNITY MONOLOGUE: Few Places Are As Violent as Washington D.C. [WATCH]

Hannity weighs in on Trump’s capital cleanup…

During Monday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity discussed President Trump’s crime crackdown in Washington D.C., placing the city’s police department under federal control and deploying the National Guard to patrol the streets.

The Trump Administration made the move amid a series of high-profile violent crimes in the nation’s capital.

“Few places are as violent as D.C.,” Hannity said.

“The U.S. has long been the greatest country on earth … but sadly, that is not reflected on the streets of our capital city,” Hannity said. “Murder, assault, sexual assault, armed robbery, carjackings, the chaos, the carnage is non-stop, never-ending. As of today, that is about to change.”

Hannity continued: “President Trump is now invoking what is section 740 of the D.C. Home Rule Act that enables the president to federalize law enforcement in D.C. if there are ‘special conditions of an emergency nature.'”

“If Washington D.C. were a state, it would be home to the highest murder rate in the country — great job, Mayor Muriel Bowser,” Hannity added.

Did you know D.C.’s murder rate is worse than Bogota, Colombia? Three times worse than Mexico City? And ten times worse than Havana, Cuba?

Baghdad is safer than our nation’s capital!

In 2024, there were 30,000 crimes in D.C. — that we know about!

Hannity digs in.
