Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Thursday, Sean commented on Marianne Williamson’s recent realization that the Left in America is “mean,” saying Hollywood actors unleash an “endless stream of vile comments” yet somehow get away with it.
“Marianne Williamson has suddenly come to the realization that the Left in America is ‘Mean.’ The Left acts like they have a monopoly on compassion. Everyday unleashing an endless stream of vicious, vile comments, but they get away with it. Look at Hollywood for example, actor Jim Carrey is accusing Mitch McConnell of being worse than Osama bid Laden,” said Hannity.
Williamson made national headlines earlier this week after she abruptly deleted a tweet claiming “the mind” can prevent hurricanes from reaching the United States.
“The Bahamas, Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas…may all be in our prayers now. Millions of us seeing Dorian turn away from land is not a wacky idea; it is a creative use of the power of the mind,” she posted on social media in a now-deleted tweet.
“Because the comment led to confusion it was replaced,” a spokesperson for Williamson’s campaign told The Hill.
The candidate has made similar comments in the past; saying President Trump has awakened “dark forces” in the United States.
“This is part of the dark underbelly of American society, the racism, the bigotry, and the entire conversation that we’re having here tonight. If you think any of this wonkiness is going to deal with this dark psychic force of the collectivized hatred that this president is bringing up in this country, then I’m afraid that the Democrats are going to see some very dark days,” said Williamson during a Democratic debate earlier this year.
