Former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley called-out Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Friday after the Congresswoman blamed the US for ongoing unrest in Cuba.
āWhen Obama opened up to Cuba the regime profited & was emboldened to increase its politically motivated harassment, violence & detentions. Trump rightfully restored sanctions on a gov that tortures its own people. Can’t call for human rights & empower an oppressive dictatorship,ā posted Haley on Twitter.
āWe stand in solidarity with the Cuban people and condemn the suppression of the media, speech and protest. We also call for an end to the U.S. embargo and additional Trump-era restrictions that are profoundly contributing to the suffering of Cubans,ā said AOC following the Cuban protests.

āThis is potentially an inflection point. America should stand-up and speak boldly on the side of freedom. Thereās a reason those folks carry our flag. Thereās a reason they look to America,ā he added

HALEY EDUCATES AOC: Nikki Haley Rips AOC Over Plan to āPay People to Stay Homeā
Former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley ripped Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortezā plan to āpay people to stay homeā on social media; asking the far-left lawmaker where the money will come from.
āTo get the virus under control, we need to pay people to stay home,ā posted AOC on Twitter earlier this week.
āAOC, Are you suggesting you want to pay people to stay home from the money you take by defunding the police? Or was that for the student debts you wanted to pay off, the Green New Deal or Medicare for All? Where is the money?ā asked Haley.

HALEY ON FIRE: US Ambassador TORCHES UN Over Palestinian Turmoil
US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley slammed Arab member states over their relationship with the Palestinian Authority Tuesday, saying anti-Israeli rhetoric was having a disastrous impact on their āstreets and communities.ā
Haley was speaking at the United Nations Security Council this week when she called-out Arab nations for their ānever-endingā speeches surrounding Israel; adding if āthose words were usefulā Palestinians āwould not be facing the desperate conditionsā we see today.
āIf those words were useful in the schools, the hospitals, and the streets of their communities, the Palestinian people would not be facing the desperate conditions we are discussing here today,ā she said. āBut talk is cheap.ā
āSince [1993], the United States has provided over $6 billion (with a ābā) dollars in bilateral assistance to the Palestinians. How much have the Arab countries ā some of whom are wealthy ā how much have they given to the Palestinians? Ā It does not come anywhere close to what the United States has done,ā she added.
āWe are not fools. If we extend a hand in friendship and generosity, we do not expect our hand to be bitten. And as we extend our hand, we also expect others to extend theirs as well,ā said the Ambassador.
