GRIM MILESTONE: Mexico Sets New Murder Record, 17,608 Dead, Homicides Up 5% in 2019

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.23.19

Mexico set a grim record in July for the staggering number of murders sweeping the country, with homicides up 5% since 2018. Experts cite the ongoing cartel wars and gang violence on the sad statistic.

“Mexico saw 3,080 killings in June, an increase of over 8% from the same month a year ago, according to official figures. The country of almost 125 million now sees as many as 100 killings per day nationwide,” reports the Associated Press.

“The 17,608 killings in the first half of 2019 is the most since comparable records began being kept in 1997, including the peak year of Mexico’s drug war in 2011. Officials said 16,714 people were killed in the first half of 2018,” adds the website.

Homicides in the northern state of Sonora -which borders Arizona and New Mexico- are up 69% in the first half of 2019.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren introduced a new plan last week that would essentially “decriminalize” those caught illegally entering the United States; raising serious new questions over the Democrat’s immigration policy heading into the 2020 election.

“Entering the country without authorization has always been a violation of civil immigration law, but thanks to a former segregationist Senator, it’s also a criminal violation. This additional criminal provision is totally unnecessary for border security, and for a century, it was rarely enforced. But since the early 2000s, it has been used to build and sustain a massive immigration detention complex,” writes Warren in an op-ed published by Medium.

“In 2016, over half of all federal criminal prosecutions were for immigration violations — more than prosecutions for terrorism, organized crime, hate crimes, or financial fraud. This obsessive focus ties up federal prosecutors and overwhelms federal courts. It’s costly and unnecessary. And under Trump, it has become increasingly abusive,” she adds.

“We should repeal this criminal prohibition to prevent future abuse. As president, I will immediately issue guidance to end criminal prosecutions for simple administrative immigration violations; end Operation Streamline, which subjects migrants to mass prosecutions; and refocus our limited resources on actual criminals and real threats to the United States,” Warren concludes.

Warren toured an immigration detention center days ago; criticizing the Trump administration’s policy but failing to mention the complex was opened by the Obama White House in 2015/

“What is happening at Homestead to children, what is happening is a direct result of activities of the United States government. It’s wrong. It’s a stain on our country and we must speak out. We speak out as a people, we speak out as moral citizens, not just of the United States but of the world,” said Warren.

'FULL BLOWN EMERGENCY': 500+ ‘African Migrants’ Crossed US-Mexico Border Since MAY 30

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.07.19

Hundreds of migrants from Central African nations -including the Congo and Angola- have crossed the US-Mexico border in previous days; with experts saying the immigrants are entering Brazil before making their way towards the United States.

“More than 500 migrants from African nations — including Angola, Cameroon and the Republic of Congo — have been apprehended in Texas, at the Del Rio Border Patrol sector of the U.S.-Mexico border, since May 30, according to US Customs and Border Protection,” reports Fox News.

A single group of 116 migrants were apprehended at one time after crossing the Rio Grande into the United States.

According to federal agents, the immigrants’ inability to speak English or Spanish is creating “additional burdens on processing stations.”

“It remained unclear what route the African migrants had taken to arrive to the U.S.-Mexico border. Some Africans recently told NPR they traveled from Africa to Brazil and then north though Colombia and Central America,” adds Fox.

“BREAKING: City confirms hundreds of migrants from the Congo have arrived in SA. The city is in desperate need for French speaking volunteers,” posted a local news reporter from San Antonio.

“U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Del Rio Station apprehended a large group of 116 individuals Thursday,” stated a press release from the Border and Customs Protection Agency.

“Large groups present a unique challenge for the men and women of the Del Rio Sector,” said Chief Raul Ortiz. “This large group from Africa further demonstrates the complexity and severity of the border security and humanitarian crisis at our Southwest border.”

“This is the first large group apprehended in the Del Rio Sector and the first large group of people from Africa – including nationals from Angola, Cameroon and Congo – apprehended on the Southwest border this year,” adds the statement.

The arrests come as more and more top-tier Democrats admit a public “crisis at the border” after months of denying the President’s national emergency declaration.

“We’ve never not said that there was a crisis. There is a humanitarian crisis at the border. And some of it provoked by the actions taken by the administration and… I’ll just quote our friends from the Evangelical community when they came in and testified in the last Congress in one of our rump hearings because the Republicans wouldn’t have the hearing,” said Pelosi during an interview on Satellite Radio.

“We will hopefully work together in a bipartisan way to address this. But, yes, it is a crisis…” she added.

AOC IMPLODES: Ocasio-Cortez Says Republicans Running ‘Torture Project’ Along US-Mexico Border

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.27.19

Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doubled-down on her ‘Concentration Camp’ comments Thursday; telling reporters the Republican Party is running a “torture project” along the US-Mexico border.

“How do you respond to Republicans who are talking about physical barriers being part of any package that deals with the actual crisis in terms of the traffic coming across?” asked a reporter from the Intercept.

“If they want to do that, that’s fine… but they should not be using a humanitarian crisis as a bargaining chip to make sure they pursue their little torture project,” fired-back Ocasio-Cortez.

Yad Vashem, the official Israel Holocaust Center in Jerusalem responded this week to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ recent comments; urging the far-left lawmaker to “learn” about concentration camps.

@AOC Concentration camps assured a slave labor supply to help in the Nazi war effort, even as the brutality of life inside the camps helped assure the ultimate goal of ‘extermination through labor.’ Learn about concentration camps,” posted Yad Vashem.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez refused to back-away from her outrageous comments regarding American ‘Concentration Camps’ along the US-Mexico border Wednesday; saying the United States has a “shameful history.”

“The US ran concentration camps before, when we rounded up Japanese people during WWII. It is such a shameful history that we largely ignore it. These camps occur throughout history. Many refuse to learn from that shame, but here we are today. We have an obligation to end them,” posted AOC on Twitter.

“Not one dime should go to DHS for building these camps as they detain children & families. Congressional appropriations season is now. That means it’s money time – we‘re voting to fund federal government programs. We should not fund the caging of kids & families. Pretty simple,” she added.

The official Twitter account of the Auschwitz Memorial weighed-in on the subject Tuesday; posting “Please consider following @AuschwitzMuseum where everyday we commemorate and educate about the tragic human history of #Auschwitz.”
