This is regrettable.
According to a report from The New York Post, New York Governor Kathy Hochul got absolutely roasted for her seemingly staged —and incredibly awkward —barbecue photo op over the weekend.
“Great day for a barbecue, New York!” Hochul tweeted —but definitely shouldn’t have.

Well, here comes the internet.
“Tell me you’ve never barbecued anything without telling me you’ve never barbecued anything,” one user wrote.

Even Hochul’s GOP challenger Rep. Lee Zeldin got in on the fun, saying “Rightfully so, Kathy Hochul is getting far more grilled for this badly staged photo op than that hamburger patty she’s awkwardly holding in that 8 second old white apron.”
