Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper threw more cold-water on the special counsel’s ongoing Russia-Trump collusion probe Wednesday; saying Robert Mueller’s conclusions may be “anti-climactic.”
“I think the hope is that the Mueller investigation will clear the air on this issue once and for all. I’m really not sure it will, and the investigation, when completed, could turn out to be quite anti-climactic and not draw a conclusion about that,” said Clapper.

The President has routinely slammed Mueller’s ongoing probe as a “witch hunt,” with the Senate Intel Committee confirming days ago they’ve “seen no evidence” the Trump campaign colluded with Russian officials during the 2016 presidential election.
INSIDE MAN: James Clapper Says Spying on Trump was ‘A GOOD THING’
The former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper raised eyebrows throughout Washington Thursday night; bizarrely calling allegations the FBI “spied” on the Trump campaign a “good thing” for the country.
Clapper was speaking with CNN’s Don Lemon when he was asked to weigh-in on recent revelations the bureau may have had an “inside man” interacting with the Trump campaign ahead of the 2016 election.
“If there was someone that was observing that sort of thing,” said Clapper, “That’s a good thing because the Russians pose a threat to the very basis of our political system.”
The President slammed the possibility of an “inside man” earlier this week, saying -if true- it would be a bigger political scandal than Watergate.

LIBERAL LOGIC: Clapper Says None of Trump Dossier Has been ‘DISPROVEN’
Former National Intelligence Director James Clapper weighed-in on the Clinton-financed ‘Trump Dossier’ Wednesday; saying that while much of the document hasn’t been “proven,” none of it has been “disproven” either.
Clapper was speaking with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow when he offered his twisted logic on the Democrat-backed dossier, saying “some of it hasn’t been proven” but that none of it has effectively been “disproven.”

“Is there anything in the dossier that has been disproven?” asked Maddow.
“No. Some of it hasn’t been proven. But no, is the short answer to that question,” he fired-back.
