Senator Lindsey Graham weighed-in Wednesday on the Democrats’ latest push to impeach President Trump; saying their “desire” to remove the Commander-in-Chief from office is “unending.”
“I talked to him this morning. I said, ‘Mr. President. I applaud you for releasing the transcript.’ He’s worried about the chilling affect it’ll have on future conversations… I told him, ‘Mr. President, the desire to get you is unending,’” said Graham.
The White House released the entire transcript of the President’s private phone conversation with the leader of Ukraine Wednesday; ending days of speculation as more Democrats call for his impeachment.
“Congratulations on a great victory. We all watched from the United States and you did a terrific job. The way you came from behind, -somebody who wasn’t given much of a chance, and you ended up winning easily. It’s a fantastic achievement. Congratulations,” Trump said at the beginning of the conversation.
“You are absolutely right Mr. President. We did win big and we worked hard for _his. We worked a lot but I would like to confess to you that I had an opportunity to learn from you. We used quite a few of your skills· and knowledge and were able to use it as an example for our elections, it is true that these were unique elections,” said Ukrainian President Zelensky.
“The other thing, There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son,. that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it… It sounds horrible to me,” Trump added.

GRAHAM ON HANNITY: When Will House Democrats Have ‘ENOUGH’ of Mueller’s Investigation?
Sen. Lindsey Graham stopped-by ‘Hannity’ Wednesday night to comment on the Democrats’ flat-out refusal to end the Russia-Trump collusion witch hunt; saying left-wing lawmakers must get back to work for the American people.
“Tonight, the unhinged, angry, rage-filled Democrats, their allies in the hate Trump media mob, they’re continuing their smear campaign. Now, they are targeting Senator Lindsey Graham after he encouraged Donald Trump Jr. to exercise his Fifth Amendment rights in response to a Senate panel subpoena about his Russian contacts,” said Hannity.
“The Fifth Amendment is the rule of law. A rule of law is based on a little document called the Constitution of the United States,” he added. “But the senator is standing strong supporting the president’s agenda, that it’s creating records on every front, exposing the deep state cabal by pushing for more FISA declassification, securing our border just new bill to reform the asylum process.”
“Richard Burr is a good friend of mine. He is a great chairman of the Intel Committee. He is going to issue a good report, I think, telling us how to deal with Russia in the future. And what happened on the intel side,” said Graham.
“What I worry about is when is enough enough? Now, you have got the House Intel Committee bringing accusations against Jay Sekulow,” he added.
Sen. Lindsey Graham’s comments come hours after he unveiled a new immigration proposal that aims to end Central American asylum claims at the US-Mexico border and return unaccompanied children to their home countries.
The new legislation would end asylum claims at the US border but would permit individuals to request asylum at US embassies and consulates across Central America.
“If we do these four things, then the incentives created by our laws will cease to exist, this humanitarian disaster will begin to repair itself and I am willing to sit down with Democrats and find a way to address the underlying problem in Central America,” said Graham. “I am willing to put other immigration ideas on the table to marry up with this but what I am not willing to do is ignore this problem any longer.”

– Asylum must be filed in country of origin or Mexico
– Treat Central American unaccompanied minors like those from Canada, Mexico
– Families held together up to 100 days

GRAHAM'S STAND: Grassley, Graham Request New Intel on FBI’s Handling of Hillary Probe
Senators Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham fired-off an official letter to Attorney General William Barr Tuesday; demanding new information regarding the FBI’s handling of Hillary Clinton’s email probe now that Robert Mueller’s investigation has concluded.
“Now that the Special Counsel’s investigation has concluded, we are unaware of any legitimate basis upon which the Department can refuse to answer the Judiciary Committee’s inquiries,” states the letter.
“In a letter sent to Attorney General William Barr on Tuesday, three Senate chairman argue the Justice Department can no longer cite the ongoing Russian interference investigation as a reason not to comply with their demand for a briefing,” adds the Washington Examiner.
Sen. Graham has repeatedly vowed to gather new details on both the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server and whether the DOJ violated the law in obtaining FISA warrants against Trump associates during the 2016 race for the White House.
