GRAHAM’S DEMANDS: Sen. Graham Wants Answers from the FBI over Roger Stone’s Arrest

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.31.19

Sen. Lindsey Graham fired-off a scathing letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray Wednesday; demanding answers over the “manner” in which political insider Roger Stone was arrested during a pre-dawn raid at his Florida home.

“Although I am sure these tactics would be standard procedure for the arrest of a violent offender, I have questions regarding their necessity in this case,” Graham wrote.

“The American public has had enough of the media circus that surrounds the Special Counsel’s investigation,” Graham added. “Yet, the manner of this arrest appears to have only added to the spectacle. Accordingly, I write to seek justification for the tactics used and the timing of the arrest of Mr. Stone.”

Graham went on to say that Stone’s arrest was in stark contrast to other “similarly charged individuals.”

STONE ON HANNITY: ‘I’m Targeted Because They Want to Silence Me’

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.29.19

Roger Stone stopped by ‘Hannity’ Monday night to set the record straight on the recent FBI sting on his Florida home; saying he was being targeted because “they want to silence me.”

“What do you make of this? That it only happens to you, Manafort, and Cohen, but none of these other people,” asked Hannity.

“It’s extraordinary. Comey, Clapper, Brennan, McCabe, and Hillary all lied about material, consequential things. The things that I made errors of memory during my four and half hours of voluntary testimony; they’re inconsequential. I’m targeted here because they want to silence me,” he added.

Political insider Roger Stone pleaded ‘not guilty’ in a federal court Tuesday morning; refuting charges from the special counsel’s office he made false statements to Congress during his ongoing Russia-Collusion probe.

“Stone appeared in federal court for the District of Columbia before Magistrate Judge Deborah Robinson. He entered a not guilty plea through his attorney Robert Buschel. A status hearing was scheduled for Feb. 1,” reports Fox News.

The 66-year-old advisor was abruptly taken into custody by the FBI Friday hours after being indicted by a federal grand jury.
