Sen. Lindsey Graham is poised to resume the Senate Judiciary Committee’s investigation into allegations of FISA warrant abuse related to the now-debunked ‘Steele Dossier’ and the Trump administration during the 2016 presidential election.
Graham fired-off a letter to recently-confirmed Attorney General William Barr this week; asking for material that would shed more light on how DOJ officials attempted to verify the dossier before its use in the FISA courts.
“The Committee is concerned that the Woods procedures and a full presentment of material and relevant facts may not have occurred with regard to the applications for FISA warrants for (and the opening of the underlying investigations on) Carter Page and other individuals associated with the presidential campaign of Donald Trump,” Graham wrote.
Graham has issued a March 21 deadline to receive the material.

Sen. Graham May Call for McCabe, Rosenstein to Appear Before Senate Committee
Senator Lindsey Graham issued a scathing statement Thursday following Andrew McCabe’s bombshell interview regarding the DOJ and the White House; saying McCabe and Rod Rosenstein may be called to appear before the Senate to answer questions regarding anti-Trump bias.
“It is imperative that he and others come before the Senate Judiciary Committee to fully explain how and why a FISA warrant was issued against Carter Page and answer questions about what appears to be, now more than ever, bias against President Trump,” said the statement from Graham’s office.
The Senator’s comments come hours after McCabe told CBS News the DOJ considered invoking the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump following the firing of FBI Director James Comey.
McCabe also claims Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein offered to secretly record the President “more than once.”

FISA FALLOUT: GOP Releases MEMO Video, Trashes DEMS for HIDING Intel
Congressional Republicans released a scathing video this week, detailing the bombshell revelations contained in the declassified FISA memo and trashing the Democratic mission to conceal the information from the American people.
House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy posted the video on social media Thursday, highlighting new intelligence contained in the four-page document released by the House Intelligence Committee last Friday.
The four-minute long video features Rep. Devin Nunes, Sens. Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham, and others discussing the importance of the memorandum and saying all Americans should be safe from unwarranted surveillance by the federal government.
“You have a right to know what happened with this FISA process and whether reforms are warranted,” Rep. Gowdy says. “For reasons the Democrats never can explain, the FISA application went to great lengths to avoid identifying a material point about the financial source behind the dossier.”
