Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey returned to Capitol Hill Monday morning for a fresh round of congressional grilling; answering questions over his handling of Hillary Clinton’s botched email investigation and the ongoing Russia-Collusion probe.
“Comey just thinks he’s always right, and … it doesn’t matter if everyone else concludes he did wrong,” an enraged Rep. Gowdy said after his initial hearing on December 7th. “He knows better. So, that’s what it’s like to interview an amnesiac with incredible hubris.”
The President slammed the former bureau boss’s testimony just days after Comey told investigators he “didn’t know, didn’t recall, or couldn’t remember” over 245 times.
On 245 occasions, former FBI Director James Comey told House investigators he didn’t know, didn’t recall, or couldn’t remember things when asked. Opened investigations on 4 Americans (not 2) – didn’t know who signed off and didn’t know Christopher Steele. All lies!

GOWDY GOES NUCLEAR: Trey NUKES Comey for ‘TEXTBOOK BIAS’ in Clinton Case
Rep. Trey Gowdy unloaded on former FBI director James Comey during Congressional testimony Tuesday, slamming the bureau boss for “textbook bias” in his handling of the botched Clinton investigation.
Gowdy was speaking before the House Judiciary Committee when he unloaded on the ex-FBI chief for “prejudging” the outcome of Hillary’s investigation months before he was able to review all the relevant facts.
“If prejudging the outcome of an investigation before it ends and prejudging the outcome of an investigation before it begins is not evidence of outcome determinative bias, for the life of me, I don’t know what would be,” Gowdy said.
“Former Director Comey violated Department policy in several significant ways,” Gowdy added days ago. “The FBI’s actions and those of former Director Comey severely damaged the credibility of the investigation, the public’s ability to rely on the results of the investigation, and the very institutions he claims to revere.”

GOWDY GOES OFF: Rep. Gowdy RIPS Rod Rosenstein Over Mueller Witch Hunt
Chairman of the House Oversight Committee Rep. Trey Gowdy unloaded on Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein Tuesday night, blasting Rosenstein for his role in Robert Mueller’s never-ending witch hunt into the Trump campaign’s alleged ties with Russian officials during the 2016 election.
Gowdy was speaking with Fox News when he went off on the Deputy Attorney General, saying his probe into the Trump team has “wandered” from its intended goals and was now investigating any and all accusations against the President.
“Do I have fear that jurisdiction may wander a bit? I think it already has,” said Gowdy. “It has already wandered a little bit. But I would not blame Bob Mueller. I would blame whoever drafted the jurisdiction and the charter that empowered him. If you look at it, it says matters that may arise from the investigation. What the heck heck does that mean? Is that a bank robbery in Topeka, Kansas?”
