A child predator from Ecuador, trying to enter the U.S. illegally, was apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol. Chief Agent Gloria Chavez announced the predator had previous convictions for aggravated sodomy, child molestation and rape from Atlanta, Georgia.
Chavez shared the news on Twitter:

“It is the latest in a slew of such arrests, at a time when the U.S.-Mexico border is still seeing a high number of migrant encounters — more than 174,000 in November,” Fox News reports. More than 60 convicted sex offenders have been apprehended at the border over the last 6 months.
