Donald Trump is wasting no time turning his attention to “Crooked Joe Biden” now that he’s the presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee. Trump dropped an attack video on Thursday just hours before President Biden is set to address the nation at the State of the Union.
“Joe Biden is on the run from his record and lying like crazy to try and escape accountability,” Trump says. “We can not take it any longer as a country. Joe Biden’s sad excuse for a State of the Union address aside, here are the facts,” Trump continues.
“When I left office, we gave Joe Biden the most secure border in U.S. history,” Trump says, as he rattles off a list of Trump-era border policies.
“What’s happened now is a horror show…Over the past three years, Biden has actively aided and abetted the importation of millions and millions of illegal alien migrants and settled them into your communities.”
“At any time over the past three years, crooked Joe Biden — and he is crooked as you can be and the most incompetent president we’ve ever had — could have called off the invasion. But to this day, he is keeping the hordes of illegal migrants and illegal aliens pouring into the country. By the time his term is up, we could have as many as twenty million people in our country.”
“And we have no idea from where they come…many come from mental institutions, many come from prisons, there are terrorists.”

Biden is expected to focus on the economy during his State of the Union address.
“President Biden will highlight that lowering costs for working families is his top economic priority,” national economic adviser Lael Brainard told reporters.
“The president will also lay out his vision to make our tax code fairer and to lower the deficit by making big corporations and the wealthy pay their fair share,” she said, adding that he wants to rework the tax code so that “billionaires do not pay less than school teachers or firefighters and to ensure the wealthy cannot get away with cheating on their taxes.”
