A local business owner delivered a passioned plea to looters nationwide this week; saying Black Lives Matter rioters are “lying,” they simply “needed money.”
“You say Black Lives Matter… I work here. I’m a part owner of this store. You said Black Lives Matter. Look what you did to my store! Look what you’ve done! We’ve been here all night cleaning up. They tell me Black Lives Matter. They’re lying. You wanted to loot a store. You needed money. Get a job like I do! Stop stealing. This is a neighborhood. We’re trying to build it up, and you’re tearing it down!” said the owner.

“Most of the day we had large crowds throughout the city in multiple boroughs [on Sunday]. But when it got dark, things changed and it changed rapidly,” Shea said on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” on Monday morning. “We anticipated it, but you saw large groups of people had no inclination to all this protest once it got dark, particularly in the area of SoHo between Canal and West Broadway. We had a number of stores broken into.”
