posted by Hannity Staff - 12.19.18

A surprising poll published by Gallup this week shed new light on what Americans view as the biggest problems facing the nation; with most asked saying “government” is the largest issue for the country.

According to the survey, the “top problem” by those asked said “Government” at a whopping 19%. “Immigration” was a close second at 16% followed by “Unifying the Country” at 8%.

The top five was rounded-out by “Race Relations” and “Poverty.”

“These data come from a Gallup Dec. 3-12 survey, conducted as a looming budget impasse between Republicans and Democrats threatened to shut down the government,” reported Gallup. “The government has commonly been cited in recent years as the most important problem facing the country, with the problem having received or been tied for the most mentions — 22 times in the last 24 months.”

BETO RISING: O’Rourke LEADS in New Democrat Poll, Tops Biden, Bernie

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.11.18

Beto O’Rourke topped a list of likely Democratic presidential candidates in a stunning new poll released Tuesday; beating Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Vice President Joe Biden by a slim margin.

The poll, published by NBC News, show Beto leading the pack with 15.6%, Biden at 14.9%, and Bernie Sanders at 13.1%.

29 percent of those asked said they were undecided at the time of the survey.

“It’s another sign of O’Rourke’s surprising popularity among national Democrats and a potentially troubling indication for Sanders, whom MoveOn endorsed in the 2016 Democratic primary. That year, 78 percent of MoveOn members voted to back Sanders over Hillary Clinton,” writes NBC News.

The three likely candidates were followed by Sen. Kamala Harris, Warren, Sherrod Brown, Klobuchar, and Cory Booker.

AMERICA UNLEASHED: Wages ‘JUMP’ by 3.1% in 2018, Highest Level in 10 YEARS

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.31.18

Wages and salaries rose at a record-breaking pace under President Trump and the GOP-controlled Congress in 2018; ticking up a staggering 3.1% and seeing the largest gains in over a decade.

“On a yearly basis, wages and salaries jumped 3.1 percent, the biggest increase in 10 years,” writes CNBC. “Wage increases have been the missing link in the economy since the recovery began in mid-2008. Average hourly earnings have been rising steadily but have stayed below the 3 percent level as slack has remained in the labor market.”

The unemployment rate remained at 3.7% in the third quarter of 2018; the lowest level since 1969.

The strong economic data comes less than one week before American voters head to the polls to decide the future direction of the country.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has repeatedly vowed to repeal the “GOP Tax Scam” should her party retake control of Congress on Election Day.
