Judge Juan Merchan is holding former President Donald Trump in contempt for violating his court-ordered gag order nine times in his Stormy Daniels hush money trial in NYC.
Trump was fined $9,000 for repeated gag order violations, and the judge threatened him with “incarceratory punishment” if “necessary and appropriate.”
But it’s not all bad news for Trump; he will have May 17 off from the trial to attend his son Barron’s graduation — something he was originally told he wouldn’t be able to do.
