Sen. Elizabeth Warren doubled-down on her proposal to cancel the student loan debt incurred by millions of Americans; saying her proposal would erase the financial burden for 95% of Americans who owe money for education.

“Student loan debt is crushing millions of families. That’s why I’m calling for something truly transformational: Universal free college and the cancellation of debt for more than 95% of Americans with student loan debt,” posted Warren on social media.

Warren’s proposal -along with providing tuition-free public colleges- would likely cost US taxpayers upwards of $1.25 trillion over the next decade according to leading economists.

FEINSTEIN’S NEXT FIGHT? Dianne Slams Student Loan ‘Forgiveness Program,’ Calls for Probe

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.19.18

Senator Dianne Feinstein escalated her all-out war with the Trump administration this week; bizarrely slamming the Student Loan Forgiveness Program and demanding new information from Secretary Betsy DeVos.

Feinstein posted a scathing letter addressed to DeVos on social media Thursday afternoon, writing “The GAO released a report showing the Department of Education has denied loan forgiveness to an alarming 99.6% of individuals who applied to the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. This is deeply troubling and we’re calling on Betsy DeVos to release more information.”

The Senator’s newest demand comes just days after she led a Democrat boycott of the Judiciary Committee; walking-out as Republicans moved to confirm a series of federal judges ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.

ECONOMICS 101: Cortez Confuses Tax Cuts AGAIN, Wants to ‘Forgive’ Student Debt with Non-Existent Money

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.14.19

Embattled Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doubled-down on her calls for total student loan forgiveness Wednesday evening; bizarrely suggesting tax cuts could be used to finance her massive proposal.

“Cost of the GOP Tax Scam for the rich: ~$1.8-2.3 Trillion. Cost of forgiving all student loans in America: ~$1.5 Trillion. Clearly where there’s a will, there’s a way. When people say that there isn’t ‘enough’ to do these things, what they mean is they don’t *want* to do them,” posted Cortez on social media.

Cortez made similar comments weeks ago when she suggested New York could use Amazon’s proposed tax breaks to fix the region’s crumbling infrastructure and hire more teachers.
